is there a big difference in terms of fit between the CCM HP UCLP vs.  HP45 vs. HP45X?

The UCLP is equivalent to the original U+Crazy light retail model

The HP45 is equivalent to the RBZ retail model.  I notice also that the tail bone protector is slightly bigger on the HP45 than the UCLP.  Not a big difference.  I just got a pair of Hawks in the HP45s and I was using RBZ retails and they are the same pants just made better in the pro stock version.  I was really trying to find a pair of UCLPs since it looks like it may have a shorter back.  But I am very happy with the HP45s

I haven't seen a pair of HP45Xs in person, but I hear the HP45X is the same as the HP45 but has more beef on the padding.

Both the UCLP and HP45 both use the Ufoam.  Both are very light compared to other pants like the 520s and 7000s.  I have a pair of 7000s and it seems the HP45s are half the weight.

Hope this helps.

Does anyone else feel that the CLs fit a tad smaller than the HP45s? The 45s i got were broken in but i still thought they were a bit roomier, without using the zipper

any how, theyre my favorite pant

How do UCLX compare to UCLP?  Really hoping the UCLX aren't beefy and heavy as well.

UCLP's are really short I'm 5-7 170 and have smalls i wear sometimes. the waist fits perfect but ideally the legs should have been +1 or even +2

Anything ending in an "X" should have more padding in it than non-"X" models. I have a pair of UCLXs, and I wouldn't say they're heavy but the protection is substantial.

Is the extra padding on the HP45X , Plastic inserts & does the fit run a little larger from the size on tag ( sewn into tailbone area )
