i'd be livid and open a case with the credit card company if you paid with card

I could probably do that with all their stuff but I'll just call tomorrow.

Only thing they had a lot of was $400+ used skates

I got there at 8 and stood in line for about 2 and a half hours, only came out with a V08 for 50 bucks. Everything seemed to be very over priced. They were selling used hoodies for 75 bucks.

How did they go from their 2016 prices, which were insanely good, to this garbage?

I guess last year was run by the team and this year was by the pro shop.

I have to give them credit tho. I called in today and they took care of the mix up.

It was a bizarre sale. It did take hours in line to go into their small (maybe 20' x 25') very dark "pro shop". Some people that were standing in line gave up and left because they had to be somewhere, perhaps for Father's Day.  A local said the prices were very good LAST YEAR  and he had gotten there at 8AM and was home by 9:30. One of the the working guys, who directed the lines, said he was a little upset they had the sale on Father's Day. The crew had worked until 2 AM Sunday morning setting the inventory up and returned at 6 AM to get underway. He also said the turnout (buyers) was a fraction of what they had expected. I was in the pro shop about 10:30 ( with perhaps 15 people left in line behind me) and there were still 5 rows, 2 deep of bags hanging on the wall. They were in very good shape and looked rather cool with the teal stripe, but for $200, passable.  They did have a lot of skates left and the pants ($100) were 2 deep of 6-7 rows.  Someone is going to eat a lot of stock or it will sell later or some where else. Not too many people left with gobs of stuff one sees at other pro stock sales. I'll will be sure to skip the sale next year.

Apparently this year’s sale will be taking place this Sunday @ The Rinks. Haven’t heard any more specific info besides that....

Just got a little more info... sale starts at 10 AM, and apparently this season the sale is for STHs only.

This organization is so strange about their equipment sales....

Can I ask for someone’s help getting black game socks and a couple other things please? Live out by Anaheim but just can’t make it to the sale that day. Tips included!

I was among the first dozen in so I got a pretty good look at what they had (which wasn't much)... maybe half a dozen shin pads / shoulder pads / helmets, three or four pairs of elbow pads.  Decent-sized pile of pants, most pretty well used.  TONS of gloves, new and used.  Good skate selection as well.  Stick selection was a little thin.  Few pairs of goal pads, lots of goal pants.  Best was the jersey selection; game-worns were going for $100 and blank CCMs in the bag were $75.

Most disappointing was the lack of "fun" stuff... no player / toiletry bags, no helmet decals, no socks, very little apparel (some hoodies and hats, that's about it).

I will say that the prices were good... I picked up one game-worn jersey, three brand new LH Jetspeed sticks, a pair of 7K Pro elbows and a matched Bauer 2X Pro glove / blocker set all for around $550.

Got there at about 10:20 and they let me in even if I wasn’t an STH, but by that time, most had been wiped out. Most of what was left was 7 pairs of brand new CL gloves, still quite a bit of used ones, and a handful of sticks.

Since they were trying to clear out though, they happened to drop prices to 50% off 5 mins after I got there, so I ended up picking up a barely used pair of QLs for $17.50 and three brand new Comtois AS1s for my buddy and three brand new Morand Ribcors (both wrapped as Jetspeeds) for $37.50 a pop. Slim pickings, but best priced sale I’ve ever been to.
