You need guys like Shaw to win games in the playoffs
Exactly, he will bring a new dimension to the team, which havent had in a long time.

I do like the style Shaw plays and he will certainly bring more grit and I think be an emotional leader similar to Gallagher brings to the team.
What is interesting, is that he is paid like a 2nd line player, however ideally I think he should be a 3c. I also think Bergevin should have given him less term on this new deal.
