This one is for the experts: what is exactly is the rule on shoulder caps in the NHL?
I recently browsed through the player equipment section of the 2015/16 NHL rule book and didn't find anything about shoulder caps and foam padding.
I was hoping the experts out there could elaborate on this.

I think they have to have 1/2 of padding on the contact point such as the top of the shoulder cap, right on the elbow cap.
