So cracked an eyelet when I took a shot off my skate. Any suggestions on how to go about getting it fixed?

Did you buy them from a shop? They might be able to print you a duplicate receipt. Or a bank statement might do. If you bought them second hand, it might be worth trying regardless.

He told me he could get me a receipt if I needed one for warranty, he's already done it for a couple of guys that had issues with the eyelets breaking....

Is this a common problem with these eyelets. I don't understand why Bauer went to non replaceable eyelets

Money. Either they're too bankrupt to pay for replaceable eyelets or they want players to break their skates more often so they'd pay for more replacements/repairs.

This happened to a pair of mx3 my friend has, he plays in the echl and it wasn't replaced =/

couple guys I play w have 1X skates and this has happened to multiple eyelets

Bauer will replace them, but they want the skate and he's left w/out skates 

Our University team all has 1X/MX3/1S skates and just about the entire team had issues w these eyelets 

again, Bauer wants the skates to fix or replace them, even inside warranty period, leaving the team w/out skates

 

could be the reason why you see pro stock skates w standard eyelets

not sure, the guys I play with only have one pair and don't want to send them in

depends how quick you get them to bauer, 

i was about a week. im from new brunswick and shipped them to quebec took 2 days to get the skates to bauer. and about 2-3 days to get back.

i provided a tracking number to the warranty employee and as soon as my skates were delivered to them ,they scheduled a courier pick up and gave me a tracking number that day.

 

second time was repair, took longer 10days, and when i got them back they were a mess so bauer sent me new skates.

You may have to pay, but id call Bauer and ask them if they can fix them for you.

I got a response, just waiting for the proof of purchase from fatsauce. The warranty guy said if they weren't too far outside the window of 90 days they would replace them.
