Word on the net is Canada retail only. Doesn't mean if you have a boy up there they can't send it to you, but you can't buy from retailers to ship to the US.

I'll be switching to an edge holder now, just need to find a good place to mail my blades to die sharpenings.

Interesting, first guy I went to a LHS who gives me stuff at just over cost refuses to bring in Step Edge as they don't want to upset Bauer.

Checking with a small independent shop who doesn't have much direct dealings with Bauer to see if they will bring them in for me.

I guess it took them a while to get the rights to be able to do it.

I'm seriously considering selling my 3 sets of ls4 to pick up a few sets of step steel.

The best steel I've ever used is step when I had the older holders.

There must be some loop hole they are getting around. The steel is manufactured in Sweden so I'm sure the patent laws are different over in Europe. Then take into account the import/export laws of Canada vs USA and I'm sure there are some differences hence why it can only be sold in Canada and not the USA. I'm sure there will be plenty of stores willing to ship it over the border.

anyone willing to either sell me some of this or be a middle man to send me steel I order to your address? Canadian living in the states and there seems to be a lot of red tape around retailers sending this steel to USA. Any costs would be covered by myself obviously.

This is huge and any ideas if and when they will ship to the states? I work for a small shop and would love to get these in.
