This is huge and any ideas if and when they will ship to the states? I work for a small shop and would love to get these in.

Should be in the USA in roughly 14-20 years. That is the time frame all USA patents hold copyright infringements in the USA. Since Edge steel came out roughly 3-4 years ago I'm sure Bauer pulled the patents on it 1-2 years before hand. So great news, your probably down to about 8-10 year wait at this point.

The fact that it is available in Canada means its only a matter of time until it leaks its way down to the USA. A sticker on the outside of the package isn't going to prevent Canadian business's from making money by shipping it to the US

Yes, I'm also looking for a store in Windsor (near Detroit) that is selling this so I can run over there and buy some. Any help is appreciated.

I thought local hockey stores weren't going to jeopardize their relationship with Bauerby bringing in this product?

Don't worry Kevin, we still paid less then what Hockey shop is selling for.

But glad to see more shops carrying it. Definitely stopped with the bs excuses from early November.

not step steel, but you can get coated black tydan steels here, also for edge holders. Don't know if I'm allowed to tell who sells it...

Tydan sells their Bauer LS3 coated steel direct from its website.

Great guy had my profiled and sharpened steel shipped same day. It was 130CDN shipped to me in Canada.

I dropped some Step edge off today at the Hockey shop and the guys in the skate section all gathered around as they hadn't seen it before. So no they don't have it in stock. It's goalie Step steel at the skate drop off counter.

It's all good. I had to give them a solid look to figure to out. A quick glance would be easy to confuse the two.

Now just gotta wait till next week to get mine back to finally test them out.

Looks great. Love the shine !

Got the V-steel and the regular step in a 280. Think I'm gonna keep the V-steel and sell/return the others.
