haha, thats exactly what happen in almost every game. I got hit in the neck once. and a cage is a must there.

was listening to overdrive on tsn1050 and Jeff O'neill said it best for beer league "nhl pros don't even sauce over people's heads, what make those guys in beer league think they can do it"

 

saucing is overrated, i'd rather catch or dish a hard crisp pass along the ice any day. 

 

There's one dude that me and my buddies see each week at pick up and no matter what he does he tries to turn everything into a sauce. Only issue is 95% of the time it turns into a pizza or when the pass lands it bounces like a grenade. Lesson here folks is "don't be that guy".

Right now its 2 pickup, 1 power skate and 1 league game a week.

When I lived in Calgary and was laid off in the summers I was pretty much playing Monday - Friday in organized pick up at noon, Friday and Tuesday nights if I wanted, Sunday afternoon and then a game a week in beer league. Now I'm in saskatoon and it's basically one beer league game a week and a pick up game every now and then on days off. Not much for ice here
