I have played against several ex-NHL / ahl players and I can say I felt a lot like the description in this video. The worst was when I played against TJ Oshie in a summer league game in Lynwood WA - that guy has amazingly sick hands

In the summer I play with a few ex NHL, current AHL, KHL and NHL draft picks in the Dub and they do make you look like a plug if you're against them but when they're on your team it's fun as hell lol this video is kind of funny though because it's basically pro's against actual plugs by the looks of it

I played with Max Domi once...he was probably playing at like 25% and I still felt like I should've put a pylon on my head and just stood there

We skated with Matt Stajan handful of times last summer and we asked him if he could just turn it on and go 100% for a shift. He said no at the start but the last go around he went full tilt and wow could you ever tell a difference.
