I'm going to NYC in few months and I was wondering are there any hockey shops in new york area with good selection of pro stock gear and sticks?

Airline promised i can take hockey equipment bag and 2 sticks as my second luggage for free..

When I've flown with hockey equipment, they've always been lenient on the 2 stick limit as long as they're in a box or a stick bag. If you get a stick bag that can fit 6 sticks, they usually don't open the bag to check there's only two in there.

 

The combination of the equipment bag and the sticks has to be under the maximum allowable weight for a checked bag though. They don't always measure them together, but last time they did.

I'm going to New York in March, are there any hockey shops in New York which sell Rangers or Islanders pro stock gear? Is there a pro shop at MSG?
