How does dark grey digital palm compair to the lighter grey pittard

It's darker.

Are you sure you're not confusing digital with nash grip?  Most digital palms I've seen have all been pretty much the same in color.  

 

Nash grip, which is the palm that Jason Spezza uses, is darker but looks similar to digital.  They definitely have a different feel to them.  Nash grip (a.k.a. Suregrip) is a synthetic material.  It generally feels stiffer than pittard digital, because pittard digital is genuine leather.

Exactly looking at Spezza pro stock and Iginla pro stock easton gloves and both have same darker synthetic Nash grip palms.
