Has  anyone had a chance to skate these? If so please tell me how they are similar to and how they are different from the Super Tacks. Was very close to pulling the trigger on a pair of Super tacks however these look very intriguing as well. Thanks for any input, Dave

I have skated in both. FT1 has a superior heel lock. Skate is also feels lighter (not sure on actual weight). For the most part, the skates perform similarly.

How was the fit between the two? Were you the same size for each?

I was wondering the same because I need a 6.5 Super Tack but was comfortable in a 6 original Jetspeed but just too big of a toebox

FT1 has same sizing as Supertacks. I was the same size for both

Is the fit profile close? I thought my jetspeed fit real similar to the supreme line though the jetspeed had more volume. Jetspeed fit more like supreme than vapor. Never get the vapor vs jetspeed. Jetspeed are contoured like supreme.

I have Supremes and I they feel pretty close to the Super Tacks they just don't hug the entire foot like the Tacks. The Jetspeeds felt to me like they were a tad deeper and the toe box felt larger. I should listen to what my 11 year old son said tonight, "You already tried on the Tacks and know they fit you perfectly just get them plus they look cooler" Genius!!! HaHa

Super tacks have less volume in instep area than jetspeed? That's my problem area. I wear the powerfoot inserts in the jetspeed to compensate for the big toe box

Is that the inserts that go on the roof of the toebox. I was told of those last night, should look into them if I do keep my Supremes. I wouldn't buy another pair of skates knowing toebox is too big, that is my issue now. I originally came from Mako 2s so I really want that zero negative space feel of the Tacks

Yes, inserts. They make a difference

A lot of misinformation in this thread

super tacks = supreme like fit
Jets speed = vapor like fit

I don't think so. I have supertacks 7.5D/A, they have more volume everywhere than my Jetspeed Maxx2.0 7D (from Totalhockey). (I guess Maxx2.0s and Jetspeeds have, if not identical, very similar fit profile)

The sizing is off, even for NHL endorsees, as I witnessed on Thursday...LOL

How much is it off, same as the first generation?

Any baking instructions on these? And are they as heat moldable as advertised?

Looking for some reviews on these. Anyone tried them and can speak to them?

Can you expand on this a bit? I recently ordered a custom pair and they just came in based on Bauer custom sizing and they feel extremely tight in width and the toe box is far too small... Not sure if you meant there was sizing issues at the custom level too or not...
