Has anyone had experience with adding patches to regular hockey pants (i.e. with thigh pads)? I'm assuming I would Iron the patch on, but sewing on the patch would be best, but hoes that work with the thigh pads? Any tips or info would be appreciated.

What kind of pants do you have?  Some of the newer styles will have removable thigh pads to allow for embroidery.

If your bag has wheels, you don't.

If you can get the thigh pad out to sew the patch, just use a little fabric glue to hold it in place, then sew it. If you iron the patch, you will most likely end up damaging your pants.
