Hey Guys - I'm moving from Boston to LA and would love to get into a league, does anyone know some good rinks to play in or a team that might be looking for guys for their summer season (B/C+ level)?

Are there any drop in skates where I don't have to call 24 hours in advance?

I'll be living in the South Bay so my first thought was Toyota Sports Center, but I guess their leagues don't do draft teams for the new guys.

Any info would be awesome!

Thanks for the help,

Jake

Pasadena is pretty good- need to call to make a reservation, but it is not like TSC, which instantly fills up for an 11:45am skate on 11:45am the previous day (the call 24 hours in advance deal). So with Pasadena, you actually do not need a reservation, unless it fills up, which it sometimes does but not insanely fast and not all the time.

Nah. Pasadena's not worth the drive.

It depends on where you live in the south bay. Traffic gets old and tiring pretty fast.

You're looking at skating edge(harbor city), promenade(rolling hills),  tsc (el segundo), and lakewood.

What do you recommend for me? (Spending summer in MdR)
