This guy is a joke. Completely tried to screw me and flip gloves he bought from Dupes less than a year ago. He bought the same gloves for 150 shipped!!!! He says "the market has changed." Please someone tell me they would pay 425 dollars shipped for those. No one in this entire group would. I would tread lightly if dealing with him.

Lol. Frank is one of the best guys on this forum. You don't like the price.. you don't buy.

Is this what feedback has come to these days? Whining about prices? I thought it was for people who rip someone off or sell them goods that aren't as described. Not something that can be solved by simply saying "no thanks man, that's too much for my tastes."

I didn't know we have to ask community approved prices for our gear on this forum. If the price is too high, it doesn't sell. Isn't that how buying and selling works in every market?

Ya that's great 👍. 80 shipped but it's ok to offer me 425 shipped and say they are "the rarest of the rare." If this kind of guy is the best guy on the forum you guys need to take a long look in the mirror.

Did you not catch the part where he just bought them for 150 shipped? So it's ok to not disclose that and try to make a 200 dollar profit?

And as soon as I question the price it's immediately dropped a 100 dollars? Doesn't that scream rip off?

It's called being a good person and not trying to completely rape the buyer

You can sell your stuff for whatever you want, to whoever you want. Also, prices don't have to be the same across the board. I would sell my stuff to a friend for less than I would sell it to a random person.

Let's say you agree to buy a pair of skates off a dude for $250. He mentions that he bought them for $450 last week and never used them, just wants them gone. Would you offer to pay the guy the extra $200?

Welcome to a free market. Power to the buyer. If you don't like the price, no one is forcing you to buy it. I don't get the issue here.

If I get something for free and sell it for $200 because that is what it's worth, am I a bad person because I just made 200 profit ? The answer is no.

Didn't know there were "rules" in selling. A pair of jets heritage gloves just sold for double what the guy paid.. should we put him on blast? No, because someone is willing to pay for it. Just because you're not willing to buck up for what you want, doesn't make this Frank guy a bad person.

While i dont agree with marking up that much. Have you not overpaid for something you really wanted? Ive purchased numerous things for slightly outrageous prices but only because i wanted it bad enough.

While "Frank" has made a suggested price at $425, you thought it was fair to offer him $20, shipped, under what he paid? You explain to me how that is fair?

Here's my problem with this post:

Frank, at no point, posted these gloves for sale for $425 on the site, so I don't see him actively trying to turn a profit on the gloves.

This was a private conversation between you and him.  He offered you a price and you didn't like it.  Instead of simply saying "No thank you," and moving on, you decided to try to sully his name on this website.  That right there makes me want to never deal with you in the future if that's how you conduct yourself.

On a side note...

Those are MIC Warrior AX1's with the yellow "1".  They're pretty hard to find.  I'd expect to pay a premium on those, regardless of what he bought them for.  No reason for him to walk away from money.
