The worth of an item is only what somebody is willing to pay for it. The gloves are not worth $425 according to you because you did not buy them. If somebody buys them for $425 then they are worth $425 to that person. If you don't like the price then don't buy, If you do like the price then buy.

Because it's been 6 months? And I'm sure he has used them?
First off, I'm not your buddy, pal.
Secondly, do you skate with him? Have you been to every drop in session/beer league game that he may or may not have played in? What if he was injured and required neck surgery therefore was not able to use the gloves and they are just sitting there collecting dust like the rest of his gear?
For all you know, he bought these gloves because he wanted to collect them. Now, due to the added stress and anguish you are putting on him to sell the gloves, he feels he needs to be compensated. Thus, the price you were offered.

Actually are these still available? Pm sent.
Don't even bother, I just offered $500 + shipping.
Any by shipping I mean I'm going to buy him a plane ticket to hand deliver them to me.
I know a lot more than you about collecting bud, so save the shit

If the price is too much, it is what it is, just move on until you find something that works for you.

There was just some Panarin gloves up that I would have really loved to have. But I wasn't spending $320 on them. But then I spent $250 on another pair of gloves (thank you exchange rate), because they are awesome. No point in getting upset about all this.

I personally would never spend that much on gloves and who knows maybe someone would. They are the rarest of the rare as dynasty gloves go as these are mic with the yellow 1.
