Wondering if anyone has ever seen or owned a pair of Lauri Korpikoski skates and interested in what you can tell me about how they are usually customized? And how they fit?
Thanks!

Thx, now to find him - sounds like it was desert dog.
I know they are size 8 ad have a 280 holder/runner on them instead of the retail issued 272 - wondering if it's a noticeable difference?

Bump

I'll check - I have a line on a pair just wondering what kind of custom specs he makes to his skates.
How do you like sizing up on the runners?

It dosent bother me, or make a difference really. A lot of NHL guys like it cause it puts more blade on the ice for a longer stride and then also most guys try to get on a 280 tuuk size or at least it seems like it

Yes I did have a pair. Sorry it took so long to see the post. They were size 8 and had 280s like you said. I tried em once, couldn't tell the difference. I sold them on here to JoshV7 I believe.

Thanks DD!
Ya they didn't fit Josh and I was thinking of buying them off him - just trying to find out if there were any added custom specs to his skates.

Ha, thanks guys - ya I saw he put them up on ebay after not finding a buyer on this site.
was literally just researching the fit of the T1 compared to APX.

I went to my LHS and tried on the T1 in an 8DA and they seemed to fit well lengthwise and great in the heal, but around the forefoot they felt like they were a little too tight - I'm wondering if Lori's skates might not give me that problem around the forefoot since they've been used a good bit? Or maybe if I were to bake them a couple times it would fix that problem - but I know those are a very stiff skate so I have my doubts that baking will help the fit around my forefoot - don't wanna spend that kinda money if the skate isn't gonna fit right.
and I feel like if I were to try and find an 8 EE (which would be the next width up right?) that they might be TOO WIDE - I really wish that there was a way to demo these skates - for such a big investment it seems shitty to me that all you can do is try on a new pair in the shop and walk around the floor a little....at least that is the way it is around my area.

Anyone know of a pro that might wear an 8 EE/A ?? Maybe I could try to track down his wheels this off season?

oh ok - and they are size DA? You're saying at first they felt too tight at the forefoot but after some use that went away? If so, that's good to know - thanks Matt
