UA is already in Lacrosse and they were aggressive in trying to get the NHL jersey contract so it would make sense to me.

Cant tell if this post is suppose to be about UA (Under Armour) or Adidas as a few others have mentioned. I haven't heard any big news about Under Armour in the hockey industry lately so this post has raised my ears.

If UA gets into hockey, it will be in soft goods IMO, but then again the Adidas/Fanatics deal is good for a very long period of time.

UA should buy Easton from Bauer since Bauer obviously has no use for the Easton technology at retail besides their graphics. What good is it to keep a company/style around if only used at the NHL level? Yes it technically converted most Easton signed players to Bauer branded but ultimately did nothing for the brand.

It eliminated competition. They don't care if eastons tech dies.

I'll be pi$$ed if UA does something stupid like buy CCM and then put their logo on their gear, leave CCM alone

Looks like UA got either beat to the punch or outbid.  They were closely investigating this purchase for the last 18 months or so...

UA 0 for two after missing out on the licensing deal too. Maybe hockey isn't for them.

Bauer has been using Easton technologies on some of their sticks but mostly in protective.

Easton hockey doesn't exist anymore and hopefully wont be in the NHL this year.
