I use an e28 w/ a longer stick and find it easy to get it off whether its a snap or clap, even a wrister. Coming off using a heel back then, there is a slight adjustment at first but its really an excellent curve in all situations. Found that starting your shot more mid of the blade instead of heel helps w/ control and try releasing it slightly earlier on your follow through, that helped for my adjustment. As others mentioned it sounds like more of your release than the curve, just minor tweaks and sure you'll be fine.
Switching from P28 to PM9/P92?

Yes, Its just to make sure that when youre skating up the ice, the flat heel rocker is making ice contact, not cocked up which makes it harder to stickhandle and like yo mentioned, youre able to transition to the pull in snap shot extra quick. Thats the reason the toe rocker is so rounded up, so when you take that quck pull in snapshot and release the puck from the toe pocket that that part of the blade is making ice contact
This really comes down to your snap shot mechanics, if you naturally pull in then the pattern will work out, if you shoot with the puck farther away from your body with the blade flat on the ice (kovalchuk og, perry, kessel) then a flatter rocker is better
Honestly I am not a pull shooter and I have typically played the off wing to cater to my shooting style. I havent been as creative as I was before and its tougher to be deceptive with the P28 I think considering the load process can be read from a mile away compared to ones who shoot from their skates or through skates. I can pass well with the P28, I can shoot well with the P28 but theyre either HIGH corner shots (left or right) or they are low blocker shots... I have been using the P28 for a while now and have gone back and forth with the 88/92/28 at this point but Ive also found myself playing a lower level of hockey until now where its consistently a B league variant in MA. I happened to mess around with a 28 and 92 back to back in an open ice session and while the 28 was flashier and had more punch when I got a shot off I felt more comfortable with the 92 and I could place shots better with the 92 but what always reeled me in was the sizzlers that I could fire off with the 28. It was like dating a rocket that you KNEW wasnt going to be around for long while the 92 is like the high school sweetheart... The 28 was like Megan Fox in transformers while the 92 was like Sandra Bullock in While you were sleeping (dont judge me its a good movie)

I'm a firm believer that curve and flex aren't nearly as important as the lie. Give me any twig and I'll make something happen... but if it isn't the right lie, then I'm screwed.
P28 is a Lie 5
P88 is a 6 but feels like a 5 to me
P92 is a 6.
For me carrying the puck with a 5 is easier since I'm not really one to carry in close

I agree with this 100 percent, lie has so much to do with what position you skate in, curve and flex are less important cause you can make small adjustments to make them work
