Saw this video he posted. I've always thought subban was such a good player but something about his skating just looks awful to me. Anyone know what it is? It seems like he wastes a lot of energy moving his upper body or something.

I like Subban, and believe his character brings more fans to the NHL.

 

His skating style has always seemed to be short choppy strides, rather than longer heel to toe and push off. Kinda reminds me of my skating, although I normally end up on my ass.
