I have made the reverse (L uppers, XL lowers) work.

I have done ccm / reebok 520 & 7000 XXL uppers / XL lowers, also franchise MIC XL uppers ( 38-40 W) with franchise overseas XL lowers ( 36-38 W ). all lined up perfect. really have the hots for the Michigan colorway & can't find XL'S.

Itll probably work but the thing you need to account for is the overlap between the hip and thigh pads.  A smaller upper usually works well for mobility but a bigger upper has the possibility of cutting down mobility.

just checked out Bauer pro stock pant sizing chart, Xl ( 36-40 waist ) , Large ( 34-38 Waist ). should work. put order in, We'll see.

You were able to get Bauer prostock pants made? Or you mean order from a store that had them in stock?

I'm talking about the older bauer / nike supreme 2 piece models. just got my 1st ones & love them. they have them on ebay , sideline swap , PSH & sports 2k. When I said order, just meant buying them. these Michigan lowers I ordered on sideline swap from farnelli hockey, he had these lowers & a few sizes in the whole pant. really awesome colorway, navy base w / white -yellow - white stripe's.tsr hockey ( 863daveb )on ebay also has 3 pairs. he's asking more for them.

Worked out, not perfect. used 2 button extenders, to make even better. to use these extenders , cant be off more than 1".
