Took a clapper to the inside of my foot tonight and it dented my boot. Just curious to see if anyone has broken a curve composite boot or if it's just no big deal? Near the 4th eyelet and there's a tiny wrinkle near the leather of the eyelet. Skates are 1S customs

Is it litterally broken or just a chip?
All my curv composite have/had chips at some point and it never affected durability or performance.

I took a clapper to the inside of the food. I'm not worried about scrapes, blade marks or any of that but this is a dent in the sidewall near the 4th eyelet and there is a tiny crease now coming from the bottom of the 4th eyelet. My concern is that if the structural integrity is compromised in that area that the boot may buckle?

The third picture is of the other skate where you see no dent.

I have Retail 1X’s. The composite is completely broken down in the boot. Both are creased pretty good as well. Love the fit but that material they used is shit. Apx 2’s stayed stiffer far longer and were a better product IMO. They said the boot material never changed between models but i don’t believe that.
