Is there something out there to make non stick shafts grippy? A spray on liquid or anything? I've been checking out some sports stores in my area( I don't have much to choose from sadly) but people look at me like I'm on glue. Any help would be great. Not looking to use tape.

Make a sticky roll and use it.  Take hockey tape (white preferably) and wrap it backwards around a dowel or even a broken stick piece.  When you have it on there - sticky side out - rub it up and down with pressure on your stick on all 4 sides.  Press it on to the desired amount of stickiness.  It does wear off but it works great.
