Hey folks - wondering if anyone has experience with either of these products. I have alternated between skipping the top eyelet / skipping the 2nd eyelet & lacing the top one.

I find myself always tightening or loosening my laces and was wondering how much forward flex it adds and if anyone would recommend these. Thanks!

There is a thread about this on Modsquad, I believe 55 flex is dead and great save makes a leather version which is still active.

Several years back I just cut up a tongue off another pair of skates and I just put it under the last two eyelets.  It adds another layer of tongue and I haven't had lace bite in like 5 years.  I cut like a 5 inch long piece and just put it under the last two strands of lace.  Just a cheap idea.

Yeah not looking for feedback on lacebite so much as adding forward flex to stiff boots. Thanks!

These would definitely help, I would consider the tongue also. Molded or softer felt would give you more flex.
