Going to be in Montreal for three weeks training on a new jet at the Bombardier training center. Any recommendations for what to go do while there in the beautiful months of January and February? Restaurants? Anything...

Thanks guys.

Stay inside lol. I left my house for a whole 30 seconds today and my hand almost fell off.

Habs game is obvious, but a Laval game would be much cheaper and is also a lot of fun.

Food: Steak at Moishes, Lucilles or Rib n' reef, Poutine/Burgers/Dogs at Orange Julep, Décarie hot dog, Burger Bar, La Banquise or Mr. Steer and brunch at Beauty's or L'Avenue if you have the day off.

It honestly cold as balls up here, but a skate on beaver lake is always nice.

If you're looking for a night out type of vibe, Kampai is a great spot. You can go for dinner too, its one of Anthony Park's restaurants

...and of course I'd spend some time at the casino lol

Enjoy man. And bundle up.

I was going to say, bring a couple coats and several hats. I have a buddy in Montreal and he was telling me tonight how the wind chill was -35C.

Hopefully it's all simulator training, haha. What do you fly? I used to be an airline captain for a regional before moving on to a new career.

I’m staying at the Marriott Reaidence Inn near the airport, will have a car.

I was a captain on the EMB145 for ExpressJet for 8 years. This training is for a Challenger 350.

Not bad. Going back and forth from downtown will be a problem. The Major road is being rebuild

There isn't much to do where you are.

Shopping in the area: Carrefour Laval or Fairview Pointe-Claire

Downtown has so much more to offer.

Spend some time in the old port too :)
