I currently have a pair of pro stock Reebok MHP7000 pants. They’re pretty beat and I’ve been thinking about replacing them with a pro stock pair of Warrior QRL pants. Does anyone know how the two fit in terms of sizing? I’m a medium in the Reeboks and figured I’d order the same in Warrior, but since the QRL is supposed to run tighter, I don’t know if I should size up. I don’t believe I have the option to try the pants on in person beforehand and would prefer not to pay to return and reship different sizes.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

I don't know how the Reebok's fit, but the QRL pants run big in overall size.  They are more snug than a Franchise pant.  For reference, I'm 5'7", 180lb.  I can wear either a small or medium in the QRL pant, but prefer the fit of the small.

Huh. Good to know, thank you. I thought the QRLs ran small, not big.

compared to 7000s the qrls are going to feel small.  The legs are a lot more straight and slimmer than the 7000s, the upper is not as snug too. Basically a even with from top to bottom, if you like the euro fit youre in id look for supremes or HP70s, you might like the newer fit though

I have medium HP70 and medium QRL. Don't size up, the waist will be a little more snug in the QRL but not enough to force you up a size. The QRL are a nice pant, I'm just not too fond of the belt system. I prefer the external belt like on CCM pants, since it keeps the pads snug to your body. The QRL have nice freedom of movement but it always felt like the pants were going to fall off, even when I couldn't pull them down the slightest.

not to nit pick but IMO the 7000s fit a decent amount bigger than the hp70s. Idk if that makes a differences for you but just something ive noticed

Thank you all for the information. I ordered a pair of mediums. We’ll see how they feel in both the waist and the thighs. If I don’t like the fit, I’ll look for something else

Got a pair of QRL’s and played in them for the first time last night. I find them pretty comfortable straight out the box, but I can see what people were talking about the waist. Felt like I tied them tighter (maybe too tight) than I normally would. We’ll see how they feel for game two
