Hey Guys,

Seems like Hornqvist twigs are becoming harder and harder to find...are there any other Pros that use the same pattern?

What (if anything) would you say is a comparable curve to Hornqvist?

I noticed that PHL (Canada) lists Hornqvist and Hornqvist2 as patterns for pro stock True A6.0 SBP sticks (none in stock though)...does anyone know, or can anyone confirm/deny that the "2" would be the longer/taller version of the pattern?

I've searched the site quite a bit, and haven't been able to find any of the above details (but maybe I missed something...apologies if I did)

Thanks in advance!

I've had a couple versions of his stick recently, Easton low-kicks one painted as a Synergy GX and the other painted as a Stealth CX. I noticed the GX one had the longer and taller blade, with the very-noticeable kink in the blade that gives it the unique toe curve.

The CX version I had (still have one actually, looking to sell it) is a slightly more toned-down version of the GX curve, truly between P92 and P28. Blade profile is closer to a stock curve, and not the super long & tall one. Hope this helps.

Thanks man!

I have 3 Hornqvists right now, and all appear identical...Kreps-like but with a very noticeable toe kink:

Bauer 1X

Easton Synergy GX (which is a CX painted as a GX)

Easton CX

I'll keep the search going, and update the thread if I find any anomalies.

Appreciate the response!

Perron has used it/still uses it as does Rickard Rakell. I have one of each, but Hornys are generally 75-80 flex wile the Perron/Rakells are 85-95.

Can anyone post pics of a recent Hornquist? The perron I have looks similar but I don't think it's the same pattern. Looks more open and has more of a kink.

I've been researching the Perron and Rakell since you posted, and everything I can find indicates that they are more like a Kovy Pro and not Hornqvist. Anyone able to confirm/deny?

the perron is a kovalev pro and rakell used it from december 2017 up until a few weeks ago. most of the rakells you generally see for sale are his old spezza pros. hornqvist actually used spezza pros for a stint in 2017 as well. rakell did use a hornqvist st 2.0 last year but it was a spezza so he was just trying the stick and not actually the pattern. he most likely tried the hornqvist pattern at some point since they train together but i havent had the chance to see one in person.

Did Raks go back to the Spezza?
Btw, the Rakell I have looks pretty spot on to the Hornqvist, but it could be the Hornqvist I have is a Kovalev?

It looks similar to a Gionta/W10. Hampus uses it LH so it makes sense. And Rakell Super Tacks? Or what model
