I was gonna wear an old Reakt I had the other day and the chinstrap snapped when I tried to unbutton it. I see the same problem happening on one of my Resistance buckets too where I know it’ll probably snap off if I try it.

Aren't they just as easy to replace?

Nobody said they weren't.

I just buy a bunch at once and make sure I have extras laying around. Seems easier to just replace them.

I wasnt being a wise guy just thought it might be an easier route than cleaning them. Rust doesnt always come out completely unless only surface rust. I work at a ski shop and have done tuneups on peoples skis with rust on them and if pitted it just recurrs. Thats all. Regards

If you don't want to replace, try soaking in CLR.
