This is what I have.

Good Idea; Whistling while you work.

Bad Idea; Whistling while you eat.

Great views of the blade there! Thanks for those. How does it play lie—stick-length-wise for you?

that is a very underwhelming toe curve

Which makes it a very overwhelming pattern :D

Kinda looks like a P92 but with less depth and a slightly more closed face. Would definitely be interested in trying that out for sure! And I just broke one of my A6.0s at the heel so I can shave it down and put a tapered blade in!

Custom everything.

Buzz, there's something I thought of after you uploaded those pics. Are you sure it's a pro stock Barkov twig you have? Because I checked out Cannon's website, and they do make a special "Barkov edition" twig that is just retail but with special graphics or whatever. They have a game-used Barkov Cannon pro stock stick on their website too, and the blade looks pretty much identical to Barkov's Bauer stick. The one you posted looks really different, more like a retail Sakic.

I picked them up off PSH a few years back, so I guess I can't make any solid claims as to what it is/isn't

That's fine, it could also be the case that be just changed his pattern while he was using Cannon sticks. In any case, we're gonna keep looking for a stick with his current mild toe curve (i.e. The pattern on his Bauer sticks). Thanks for reaching out and offering a sample though!

That is a very perfect toe curve. (If one wants more whelm, it's out there.)

It looks like Barky has blades with both shorter and taller toes; the taller ones looking a lot like retail-Sakics.

Some game used Barkov's that show up on Google Image Search and the two unique Bauer codes I could find are 8005-2 and 8005-11. So if he has at least 11 variants of his curve with Bauer, it could be he has more than one ready to go day-to-day.

Yeah that looks more like a Sakic than his mild toe curve. Thanks for the input, we'll keep looking.

That would make sense, which means Buzz's stick would just be another one of his patterns. However, the mild toe version (with the rounded blade profile) posted in the OP is the one that people find interesting.

hard to say for sure if that True Barkov is the same because of different angles the pictures are taken at. I think the True Barkov is close if not the same, but you would need a overhead shot to tell for sure.

Here are some pics of the Laine Pro (or at least, the pattern he used in Finland):

Looks kind  of like a P88 blade with a P92 curve

I voted for a few things, because I like trying out all different kinds of curves.  In no particular order:

-Definitely want to try the Ovi pro

-Kovalchuk pro

-I like the BC27 *a lot*, but the blade is so skinny, I have had some problems with catching passes on crappy central Florida ice.  So a BC27 with a taller blade would be sweeeeeeet

-Benn pro

-Taffoli pro

I really would like a blade that starts curving right at the heel, slight curve through the middle, and a bit of a toe hook. Round toe, good amount of rocker, lie ~5.5, long blade. (see my comments on the BC27 above)

Other curves I've used and liked: Radim Vrbata pro, David Perron pro (I'm a righty, obvs.)

I usually buy 2 sticks at a time, and probably buy ~6 sticks a year.

Wouldn't mind trying a Paul Stastny. Imo, looks a lot like a W10 Gionta but the rocker is flatter in the heel portion and toe is shaved a bit more. Also would comoare to the BC71 but more of a true toe curve and again, shaving that toe.

Pretty cool idea to have a taller BC27. Only thing is, it would be massive and it would look pretty wacky haha! The blade is longer than a Lidstrom right now.
