Yeah man I hear you.. but why pay $10-15 for something I have been doing for years now.. I dont have the box, and my last pair of skates came with the temperature and time in the instructions.. which I don't have for these

If you want to ruin your skates in your kitchen oven, go ahead. The temperature that the Bauer skate bake machine at my pro shop is set to reach is ~180-185F, and bakes the skates at this temperature for 7-8 minutes.

Custom everything.

I have these skates, love them, surely a quick Google search would tell you this, however just take them to the skate shop. Get it done properly. Saves damaging them.

n9000's don't bake for 8 minutes, just an fyi

and 15 bucks is a small price to pay to not mangle a good pair of skates

As someone that works in a pro shop I already gave you my suggestion, don't ruin your skates trying to do this yourself, why take the risk it's 10 bucks.

As mentioned above, its not recommended to use your own oven.

If you got the skates for free and want to try it at home, id try 175 for 4-6 minutes?!?

Obviously low heat on the BBQ.

Which method do you prefer?

1) Gas

2) Propane

3) Charcoal

Propane is nice because it burns super hot so dont have to bake for long. Just keep the lid open and you should be fine.

Charcoal leaves a nice smoky smell.

But overall id say natural gas works the best.

would you use a cedar or cherry plank to enhance the experience?

I'm more of an outdoorsy guy, so I'd go with the cedar. But it's all personal preference

Now it makes a lot of sense why it looks like you’re chopping wood when you stick handle out there.

I would recommended putting your wheels on the chicken rotisserie machine in the bbq for an even bake.

Ah yes, the spit is the best way to get a solid even bake.
