If you would compare them to a Bauer fit, the original Jetspeed felt to me like a Nexus and Ultra Tack more like a Supreme. If you could spare a little extra, entertain the Super Tacks, when baked, a more streamlined fit and a super comfy skate. This all depends on your foot shape, etc.

I have retail Ultra tacks , which I like, but I would like a little more snug fit, bought the Jetspeed's , which are pro stock's my size ( 7.5D ) . did  some research today & was saying has a tapered fit like vapors. daveski7 say's fit more like nexus , so when I get them this week, I'll see. Good deal but $350 shipped.

Pro stock not sure, I had retail and they felt deep and had a roomy toe box.

Was it the JetSpeed or the RBZ you thought had a Nexus like fit? I thought it was the RBZ that had the super wide and deep fit, but that they trimmed it up with the initial JetSpeed offering to the current slimmer-than-Tacks fit. RBZs were also red, but not JetSpeed branded.

I had a jetspeed 300, one level down, they felt very roomy to me and the toe box felt pretty big as well. Went to a Supreme 190 which felt much better, then Super Tacks most recently and got it right. I know the Ft1 is Vapor like but I did not like the fit of original Jetspeed.

I have the Jetspeed but FT1 model....fits very tapered like a vapor, with even less negative space and more form fitting on your foot if it's narrow

Received the Jetspeed prostocks today , which I started this post about. they are much more narrow than my ultra tacks , which is a good thing. the seller say's they are 7.5D. if anyone can confirm that , by code on insole, that would be Cool , I'll post a picture. Just say's 7 1/2 D in marker on boxgallery_1862_1285_675974.jpgmed_gallery_1862_1285_373158.jpg

So wait, original jetspeed was like a nexus? They really did change the fit in the new ones? I have the original ones and I didn’t think they were like vapor. More volume and a better ankle

I have jetspeed, they are narrower than my 1Xs.

I wear 7EE(or 7.5D) 1X and 7D Jetspeed.

If you have to wear EE in a 1x or jump a half size doesnt that mean the opposite is true?

The original jetspeed fit half size bigger than vapor:imo, the 7d jetspeed is almost identical to 7.5 vapor in terms of length, and narrower at heel.

I have Original Jestpeeds & 2017 X800 Vapors , both 7.5D. They both feel great. Much less - space than my Ultra Tacks.

I liked the feel of the ft1's over vapors for sure . But had trouble with ccm's sizing . Does anyone happen to know if in the same boot you go down half a size so 7d to 6.5ee , is the 6.5ee a deeper skate in the same ft1 boot, essentially im looking for more volume & not sure if going from 7d to 6.5ee will net that,  without switching to an ultra tacks boot.

I am in the original jetspeed size 6.

Today I tried on Ultra tacks in 6.5 and FT1's in 7.  That's what the store had......

I know CCM changed sizing on the jetspeeds but it looks like they may have changed fit some as well.  the ft1 in 7 was only slightly big on me.  if i went down to a 6.5 i may have issues with volume but i don't feel like i have volume issues with my jetspeed 6.

for the ultra tacks in 6.5, they seem a tad too wide for my foot.  the ft1 hugged my foot down the sides better.  would baking the tacks change that?  would it hug your foot closer?  because everything else was spot on with the tacks.  length, ankle lock, volume......

when the new tacks come out i'm going to take my jetspeeds to the store and try on tacks and ft1's to compare to my current.
