But you can't subtract.

You could use the 70k boot then which is lower than the FT1 or AS1

70K is what I was considering starting with, but I got the impression it’s higher cut than I would like. I didn’t try it on, but my ideal skate is a Graf 703. I like what CCM is doing with a lot of their skate build choices, cuts and materials mostly, but still want the range of motion I get in 703’s, just in a more current construction.

Is it possible to get custom 70K skates in a one piece boot and white (limited edition)?

I think for now they're 2 piece only, but have heard there's talk of them coming out with a one piece...but it's not available right now

When I tried on my FT1s, the boot seemed a little higher than the 70k. I came from Graf 705s and the FT1 is definitely a higher boot, but the 70k shouldnt be too much of a difference

You could always just not lace up the top eyelet which is what I did for awhile while getting used to the stiffer boot

Will the fit be a true zero-gap snug fit like the True/VH skates theoretically. If they make a mold and build it off your measurements and then mold boot around the foot mold, it seems like it could be a home run. Has anyone received any yet?

Mine should be arriving within the week....it should be a zero gap fit, the scan is done with a tablet just like they do with the True, and then they make a custom mold based off the scan

nothing too crazy....went with a custom 652 tongue 3/8 felt, reinforced rivets on all the eyelets, and the poron ankle pads

I posted in the tongue section - what model would you compare the 652 to? Thanks!

Here is my current tongue. Do you have any suggestions as to what custom option may be most similar. It’s just the 1x pro tongue. Lace bite pad is more durable than retail one but standard white felt
