Getting a custom made skate for a growing child is about the most absurd thing I’ve heard. Find a retail skate that works with their foot and save yourself time and money.

If the CCM customs were comparable in price to the TRUEs, I'd be very interested. However, TRUE still makes a custom last out of the scan of your foot. Is CCM going to be offering the same service? Or are they just going to scan your feet, say that you could wear an EEE/B sized skate, and then just make a compression-formed boot around a generic last with those measurements?

$1400 for junior custom skates? I somehow think the info you received is not accurate.
Its always been around for that price in Canada (+$150 over retail price) + price of skates + taxes.

They will not be $1400, and their fit system is very very neat.
can't say much more at this point.

I personally don’t believe true really creates a mold for every single person as they imply, it’s a very nice skate and fits great but I was under the impression they have many molds and go with what they have that is most similar to what you need. Which is what I imagine the custom CCM skate would be like or how Graf does thier customs

I’ve been tailed that CCM will actually be 3-d printing lasts based off their scans for each costumer. Will have to wait and see.
Always looking for 15" four roll/nexus gloves

What people need to think about too is that with custom molds and digital scanning, 3D printing and having meansurements on file sure does a good job of eliminating storage space. Heard whispers about 3D printing slowly creeping in, interesting to see if that's how ccm is going to use the new custom fittings.
