What you guys think about this product?

Is anyone wearing cut resistant socks during games/practice? Did it help in accidents if happened?

Just thinking to buy a cut resistant socks, but obviously why to pay more if they are useless.

it looked odd, but i still grabbed a pair...

i dont think anything is gonna completely protect you from a sharp blade with 200+ pounds of force behind it...im sure all the NHL guys wear somethign similar and it didnt do much to stop Jeff Carter from getting sliced up

I'm more concerned with the horrific 99 jersey on the wall, one he never used while in LA.

But he clearly demonstrated that so called cut resistant socks are useless stuff, and showed how cut Proof material kind of similar to chainmail used in butcher gloves.

He’s just using the pressure though he can push with his hand. A hockey blade cutting you is most likely gonna be someone stomping their leg down with all their weight like the Jeff carter injury. That’s way more pressure than a 70 year old man can generate with only his hand.

Interesting video.

Id be curious to try a pair considering all I wear is cut resistant socks (CCM & Bauer).

I wear the kevlar backed outer socks, but have never looked into cut resistant socks that go directly on my feet. Thankfully I've never had a problem getting cut on the back of my socks, but don't think I'd go so far as to wear chain mail while playing.
