Not super photogenic but if ESPN sponsored a junior team (hahahaha like they’d ever) the setup might look something like this. Excuse the roll, the jersey sleeves are too short and not designed to be worn over gear.

When your ankles are as strong as mine you don't need tight skates
I prefer a looser forefoot. Too tight and it cuts off circulation to my toes. But the ankles are plenty tight even if it doesn't appear it from the pic.
Custom everything.

Me on the left and my buddy who I poisoned toward pro stock gear on the right. I rent the ice for my birthday every year and get 19 other buddies together. We skated this year at the rink the Abbotsford Heat used to play at. The attendance at this scrimmage matched the average attendance for a heat game during their tenure here...which is the reason why they're no longer here..

Nice setup Nazzy! I have a couple buddies too that I had spread the pro stock influence onto..... no regrets!
Also, still have those Monahan retro Apx I sold ya? Would've been great with that!

best part about the low attendance was being able to buy tickets right before game time and having pick of your seats,

Now if they could only put a Junior team there and get some use out of that facility.

There was a rumour of a team moving there last year, I believe it was the Kootenay Ice, but I think they have since come under new ownership and are now staying in Cranbrook. Would have been nice to have another team in the Lower Mainland for sure. Maybe if Seattle does get their NHL team, the T-Birds May be on the move?
