So Graf Canada was purchased by Mike Vaughn a bit ago, and they are running operations again. Both retail and custom skates are being produced. With Vaughn purchasing them, they have seemed to fix some of the quality issues that were present prior to them closing their doors. I was a big Graf fan growing up and had several pairs over the years. Their current custom options seem to be unlimited. You can put any boot (leather or composite) with any tongue, liner, toe cap, tendon guard, from another model. I'm extremely intrigued about getting a custom set for my next pair of skates. I'm currently in VH customs, and wouldn't mind going with another pair of them but have always been in love with Graf. Just seeing if anyone here has heard anything new with Graf and if the quality is back to where it was years ago.

their retail offerings are very very nice having seen them first hand. and considering their reputation compared to the big guys, the price you could probably get customs for would be a steal I imagine

Thanks for the info. I need to get over and get my hands on a pair to see. Only thing I've seen is on the internet/social media. Even in just pictures, they look like they have made huge improvements and look fantastic.
