A fresh pair of CCM U+ CL Medium shoulders. Best model they made IMO

They popped back up a week or two ago actually. I think they still might be for sale out there.
Thanks for the heads up. I was able to track them down on Sideline, and pick them back up!

I’m a Bauer guy for everything except shoulders. CCM makes way better shoulders than Bauer. And those were awesome.

All that tape around his ankles and tendon that tight, I don't understand how Bure was such a sick skater like that. Looks like he would have zero forward flex lol
He used to wear Graf 707's and Microns Quadraflex and Air 90's--all models with about as much forward flex as you can get in a skate; to mimic this mobility his Vapors were all creased to hell. Sure he wrapped tape around the tendon guards, but he wouldn't wrap as much until they were broken in. He used to lace around the bottom of the tendon guard too, but unlike wrapping the lace around the top eyelet, this gives that nice feeling of snugness on your front ankle without the immobility of lacing around a reinforced upper cuff. He had ridiculous forward flex in his skates, as much as any of the other great skaters out there. His skating was built on it. He could also skate fine without tape. I've only seen footage and images of him doing that in practice though.
