For me, there was a huge shock of seeing Calgary adult hockey fees coming from Oklahoma. But are Calgary's fees that bad. We took a dive into checking out the league fees from across NA over at BLT. I thought the beer leaguers here would find it interesting

While obviously not able to find EVERY league cost, here are some general rankings.

Below is a list broken down into the price per game using a 13-player roster (with the goalie paying half), with costs standardized to USD. Obviously there are different rinks in each city, so there may be other options at different price points.

7. Boston – based on 24 games: $21.59 per game (New England Senior Hockey League)

8. Memphis – based on 13 games: $21.37 per game (Mid South Ice House)

9. Calgary – based on 30 games: $20.87 per game (NCHL)

I’ve played NCHL in Calgary and ASHL in Saskatoon and it’s about the same cost. $645 for 32 games in Saskatoon, comes to $20.16 a game. It’s alright except the schedule usually has games that are too early (6 pm and you don’t have time to get there once you leave work) or too late (10:45 pm and by the time you fall asleep your alarm clocks ringing). Guys usually have to sacrifice quite a few games throughout the season so your actual cost per goes up significantly

I play in Anaheim at the Ducks practice rink, and they absolutely rape you...like $550 for a 14-15 game season....like $36- $39/game, and the ice is usually shitty.
