Hey guys -- for those of you using shin sleeves in lieu of tape, what brand and where did you get them?

I use the A&R sleeves for reffing, but they're a heavy cotton and I find them to be too hot.

Looking for mesh syle or equivalent but haven't googled anything worth while, and i think soccer ones would be too tight (even in XL)

I have a pair of Viceroy Shin Tights that I absolutely love. Lighter than the A&Rs in my opinion.

Got mine off eBay years ago, but it looks like Ref Closet carries them: http://www.refcloset...ShinTights.html

Saw those, but hard to tell the difference from A&R in the pictures. Might give them a shot.

I still feel like i've seen thinner, almost under armor like material. Quest must go on!

Under Armor started with the founder wanting undershirts for baseball out of the same material that his girlfriend's underwear was made out of, IIRC. You could follow his lead and go to a fabric store, pick out a stretchy (shear?) fabric that can be sewn to your desired dimensions by a tailoring shop.
