Anybody know what the VH/True Pro Skate codes translate too? I know the first two are the players initials followed by the size of the skate, I believe, but I am lost after that. Here is an example of one > AM11317N

Not sure about the “N”, although both custom pairs I’ve had made have also had that designation (and my skates were very what I would consider to be very normal).

There won't be a specific size anywhere. Best tells are either to get the skate the previous owner is coming from and take it from there. Also there should be a sticker under the insole (not the red footbed) that indicates the size (of the insole, not the skate - but they'll be close). Doesn't mention half sizes so I assume the insole would say 7 or 8.

When asking the sellers of used VH around these parts, they were all able to provide the electronic order form, which gives you a decent idea about the size since it contains:
* Previous skate & size
* Previous holder & size
With those two bits of information you can usually figure it out.

Any feedback on buying new or used true skate's , that was not scanned to your feet & seller said was your size. Did it work out Ok or was not a good fit.
I wear Aaron Dell's VH goalie skates and Joe Pavelski player skates and didn't even get the rebaked. The are amazing.

Same here, used VH, previous owner was rocking 9D in Vapors before (I am 8.5EE in Vapors) and the skate did fit perfectly after a bake.
Also have a kinda "strange" project going on, converting a pair of goalie VH to player skates. Prior owner was amazed I could even fit my foot into the skate without the shoehorn let alone baking
