I’ve been using one of the Warrior pro bags for the last 2-3 years and it works well enough. Holds my gear and has been durable. While it has elastic pouches for skates on each end, they’re a PITA to use.

I was looking at the Warrior Q20 or Bauer 950; both of which have dedicated skate pockets that I liked with my Easton bags I used growing up.

Anyone have experience with either of these bags? What are you using? I know plenty of people that have the Pacific Rink bag, but I don’t find the majority of the features useful and the price is pretty ridiculous

Easton Team Pro Medium 28 in. bag.  $35 on clearance at Hockey Monkey (not including whatever discount code you apply at checkout).  Holds gloves, skates, helmet, shins, elbows, pants, socks-jerseys, and shower gear.  The large bag would be able to fit shoulder pads too but since I don't wear them and prefer the compact size, this bag works for me.  The zipper pouch on the flap fits tape, mouthguard case, skate stone, and extra laces without an issue.

Thank you. The 32” bag seems almost exactly like the warrior bag I currently have only with a U zipper opening (which I prefer), instead of a straight middle zipper

I have no problem using the skate pockets in my Warrior bag though I have size 6 skates. I'm on my second Warrior bag only because SWA baggage handlers ripped my first one.

always looking for non Reebok L & XL shells......

I was able to snag a Pacific Rink bag used for $100 a couple months ago on imspamming and it's fantastic.  I'm not sure if I could stomach paying full price for it, but the build quality on it looks like it should outlast several bags which should make it worth it.

While at my LHS I had the chance to throw my gear in a Pacific Rink bag and check it out in person. The build quality did seem really nice, but I didn't like the middle divider at all. Felt like I had to cram my size medium pants in that side. But at $100, that's a really great price!

I ended up going with the Bauer 950. It has a dedicated felt lined helmet compartment, side skate holders, inner mesh pockets for gloves and misc gear, and the top flap has a second zipper that opens up to reveal mesh allowing the interior to breathe. So far it seems to fit my needs perfectly even if I would have preferred a 32" bag. Time will tell how it holds up.

Agree with the pacific rink bag. The middle divider is really a bit tight but everything else is perfect. I’ve also got the blue with red accents.
