Which would you prefer?

As an owner of both I prefer my 710, just feels more comfortable

Same here I got both, the V08 just looks soo good. The 710 is very comfortable, not a fan however of orange foam that you can see through the vents.

Tacks 710 is more comfortable due to padding, but V08 fits my head better. Plus passes the mirror test, since that's like 80% of what matters right? Haha.

Haha I know right. Seems like more guys are switching to the Tacks model. V08 has been solid over the years.

The 710 is super comfortable, but gets smelly very quickly. Make sure you air it out and spray it after every skate.

Everyone’s head is different but I’ve tried on the Tacks 710/Resistence helmets before but I never liked the fit. I love my CCM V08 best of all my helmets and wear it the most.

Couldn't get used to the V08 but the 710 is probably the best helmet I've ever worn.

For what it’s worth, I found the 310 much more comfortable than the 710. And I heard from multiple people who felt the same. I guess the foams are a bit more dense in the 710 making it feel a little less soft than the 310, but you still get great protection in the 310, not to mention save $50 or so. Also 310 makes my v08 foams feel like cement now lol. I originally loved the v08 and was looking for one in a different colour, but couldn’t find it in my size for v08. So tried the 310, now I can’t go back to V08 again, feels uncomfortable in comparison.

This is very true.  Just got a 710 and after one skate it smells more than my ReAkt has after many more uses.
