Looks like a crease from the skates being too big or having too much volume for the previous owner. I wouldn't sweat it too much though. I've seen much worse.
If your bag has wheels, you don't.

Typical Bauer.
Happens to their vapor model.
They do get a bit softer, and that’s usually when players switch skates.
Depending on your weight and skating style you might feel a different flex, but the skates wont break just Because of that.
Had three pairs of 1x and it happened to all eventually, just feels softer by time - like any skate.
To sum it up:
You are just fine.
