I forgot how to do polls here but do you mix and match brands or are you a purist to wear only one brand from skates to helmet?

I personally don't like things from each brand enough to wear a full set.

 

I'd definitely use full Warrior but their helmets are atrocious and make me look like I just returned from a distant galaxy. Everything that isn't Warrior for me is Bauer, aside from protective.

I wear whatever fits me best and that’s not all the same brand. Bauer helmet, CCM shoulders and elbows, Bauer and warrior gloves, CCM pants (used to be warrior), Bauer shins, Bauer skates, step steel.

Helmets: CCM Warrior and Bauer
Shoulder CCM
Elbows Bauer
Gloves 2 pairs of warrior and 1 CCM
Pants CCM
Shins warrior
Skates Bauer
Sticks CCM x2 Bauer warrior x4 stx x1 Reebok x1

CCM head to toe. Even jock is CCM. Only use Bauer 37.5 undergarments. Just prefer what CCM has to offer in last few years, and I like their clean look. I was a Bauer guy five or so years ago.

I should add I have OCD and I am a perfectionist, so I like staying with one brand. Much easier as AHL teams are wearing CCM and it’s easier to grab.

CCM skates,shins,shoulders,elbows,pants. Warrior gloves, Easton s19 helmets, and sticks are what ever I can find a Kessel in.

Sometimes when a product line is really outstanding, I play around with a "semi-full" set (shoulders, shin, elbows), and then keep the stuff that works and sell the stuff that doesn't (e.g. Easton EQ Pro Series, tried: Elbows (sold), Shins (kept as backup), Shoulders (kept as backup/secondary).)

 

All same brand did occasionally happen, but with 6-7 components and at least 4 manufacturers the chance is pretty slim.

 

All same brand and product line never happened, and I am pretty much convinced that when going for "proper" fit almost all people will benefit from at least mixing lines within brands.

 

Setup #1:

Helmet: Bauer (5100)

Gloves: Warrior AX1

Shoulder: Bauer Pro Series (similar to Nexus 1000)

Elbows: Reebok 20k Long

Pants: Reebok 9k Girdle

Jock: CCM Pro Combo (the black re-branded Jofa one)

Shins: Rbk/Jofa 9K

Sticks: Warrior Covert line (Super Dolomite, QRL Pro, QRE Pro)

 

Setup #2 (Travel Backpack):

Helmet: Easton E700

Gloves: CCM CL

Shoulder: Easton EQ Pro

Elbows: Jofa 8044

Pants: Bauer TotalONE Girdle

Jock: Reebok 10k Pro Combo (the white re-branded Jofa one)

Shins: Rbk/Jofa 5K

Sticks: Warrior Covert line (QRE Pro)

I like to wear what fits/feels good, but I definitely have a brand preference for Bauer.

Helmet: CCM Tacks 710 > Bauer Re-Akt 100
Gloves: Bauer 1X = Bauer APX2 > Warrior Alpha (1st gen) = CCM 4 rolls > Warrior Franchise > Bauer 4 rolls
Pants: Bauer Supreme Pro > Bauer Nexus
Skates: Bauer

Protective I'm less brand-specific but my elbows and shins are both CCM because it just fits better and my chest is an old Easton Synergy.

Sticks: mix between Nexus 1N/CCM trigger 2/ Warrior QRL

I like it all! Its very interesting seeing some people with borderline OCD stick to one brand and others mix and match. Thanks all! Also I like the loadout format @gosinger provided. Keep sending them in!

I don't have any brand loyalty , and try to find the "right" piece of gear that suits my needs regardless of who makes it.
