Just curious, what type of CCM skates do you prefer?

I put FT2 because that’s what I have but they are customs so it doesn’t really matter lol

I'm still running my RBZ Pros with Step steel,  bought a pair of Pro Tacks at Habs sale in the fall, but find they are too stiff, my son  & my nephew both tried them too & said the same thing.

I just bought a pair of Ribcor 78K's yesterday, hoping they're just what I'm looking for (previously had Vapors which always felt too tall/restrictive, and before those old Graf 705's).

Those of you that havent given ribcors a shot, you might be surprised by the comfort.

^this. Was beyond shocked with how comfy the 80ks were. Amazing fit without even molding them.

The 80k felt awesome when I tried them on - finally a nice fitting high end option that doesn’t feel like an absolute ski boot.

On ice performance is of course TBD but they’re most likely my next skate.

I thought the previous ribcor fit like a nexus. Is that still the case?

No, totally different. Nexus is stiff, starts wide and stays wide. Ribcor is more flexible, starts narrow and stretches around the foot with heat
