Sorry for the delay ... lets say i used 6 ADV ... 5 out of the 6 last me for like a month or 2 max . 5 of those crack in middle of the blade (when you use your toe to shoot you bend the blade so it cracked all at the same spot.

I do still have 1 ADV that last a bit longer than the other . but in general they perform well but not for a long time. puck feel has also been an issue for me.... the adv is amazing for slap shot (so much pop and power out of it) and overall passing \ defensive stick position since its so light.

How often do you play each week? I had a new flylite In hand today thinking I might find something tougher that feels as good... think I’m gonna just roll the dice and see how long these hold up. I do toe shoot though. Sounds like the shaft isn’t the issue, the blade being weak is the issue.

I picked up a couple pro stock 1X Lite non se models hopefully those will last longer than the ADVs I’m going to move, one new one used once. The 1X Lites are new but hopefully twice the lifespan.

Blade is the issue 100%, that’s where they break.

If you haven’t tried one though, I suggest you do just cause. If you have good shooting mechanics the stick does wonders. My wrist shot and snap shot have pretty good velocity on a normal 1x/1x lite but when I went to the adv it was a whole new world. I skate with some of the members on here and they even noticed the difference in how heavier shots were coming off. I was beating goalies just on release speed of the stick.

Looking for BIOSTEEL jersey made by UA or Adidas.

Looking for Bauer Pro defender elbows size Large

I just picked up a couple of these pro stock 1X Lites. They are 87 flex and have tactile grip texture throughout . It is NOT an SE model. After handling 82 flex ADVs with no texture these feel like SE models or team sticks compared.

Sick twigs nonetheless. P92L5 is awesome for guys who like the 92 but struggle keeping the toe down/lose passes under it.

I needed something to get me between a 28 and an 88. The 92 lie 6 wasn’t bad but I needed a lower lie. I think texture added adds weight maybe?

It might but I’ve never noticed it as I throw a candy cane on all my non-textured sticks.

I think balance is more important than weight tbh. A sub-400 gram poorly balanced blade heavy stick feels like shit to me compared to something in the 430 range with good weight distribution. Just one man’s opinion though.

I don’t think it’s a balance issue I think it’s simply that using a stick as light as an ADV made everything else seem heavy lol

There have been many other sub 400 gram sticks in the past, and they were terrible due to balance and swing weight.

I think weight, balance, and the blade design are incredibly important. You can make a light stick, like Hoapa, but if the blade feels like crap what's the point?

I just picked up some Jacob De la rose 1NXLs. Are these just a first generation 1N with less CF layers?

ADV technologie is not only less carbon fibers....
