After using categories (weekly matchups) for years in our fantasy hockey league we've decided to switch it up a bit this season and try a points weekly matchup system.
I'm the commissioner, so I've been tasked with coming up with one and I honestly don't even know where to start with the values and whatnot. Would like to find something where forwards and D are both a bit more valuable than goalies, but goalies still matter (if that makes sense).
Any and all suggestions would be appreciated! For reference, these were the 10 categories we used last year:
SKATERS
- Goals
- Assists
- Points
- Penalty Minutes
- Shots On Goal
- Hits
- Defencemen Points
GOALIES
- Wins
- GAA
- Save Percentage
