Interested in trying the BC27 pattern, anyone have experience using a Base blade in a non-Base tapered shaft? Or is it a proprietary fit to their own taper?

I've been using Base blades in non-base shafts since Base started to produce replacement blades many years ago. Currently using them in some APX2s. There may be a little gap, but its minor and doesn't cause and issue.

The tenon is also shorter than most other retail blades.

I've used their blades for a long time and never had a fitment issue using various brands of shafts.
