I second the nexus line in fact I couldn’t wear them cause they were so wide.

As a fat guy with tree trunk legs, I third the Nexus line. Currently wearing 1Ns.

Tacks by CCM is pretty wide as well. It also carries the JDP tech back from the JOFA days.

I have the super Tacks and have had to try to use a heat gun to make them wider. They make my legs look huge too... but the protection is phenomenal.
