Hey guys,

a lot of the IIHF World Junior Team Canada players were wearing CCM "Ultra Pro" and "Pro" elbow pads.

 

The first two photos are locker room photos and you can see the marking on the pads.

 

The last photo shows a pair that says "Tacks Pro"

What is the difference between the 3? Or, are they all the same? 

It looks like photo 3 has a slightly different outer shell on the elbow itself

I have a pair of Super Tack Pro elbow pads. I don’t have access to retail ones to compare to right now but when I get the chance I will circle back and let you know the fit and protection differences.

Are yours like the ones in the 3rd photo?

First two are pro versions of Ultra Tacks elbows and last is pro version of Super Tacks. The primary difference between the retail and pro models tend to be the length of the forearm.

 

Between the 1st and 2nd I'd say maybe it's just a different printing as it seems to be the same ultra tacks elbow.

I just got a pair of the Ultra Pro elbows, love them so far. Was using Jofas before that were outstanding and tbh the CCMs feel even better than they did.
